Eduvecta Privacy Policy

For Eduvecta subscriptions, we process your billing name, address, state, optional GSTIN, payment references and payment amounts. Razorpay processes payment credentials; do not send card details or OTPs to Eduvecta support. We use billing records to activate subscriptions, reconcile payments and handle support requests.

Eduvecta is a school management app used by schools, administrators, staff, parents, and guardians. Depending on your role and the features used by your school, the app may process account information such as name, email address, phone number, role, school name, school code, login session tokens, and permission details.

For school and parent features, the app may process student and school records such as student name, admission number, class, section, parent or guardian names, parent contact details, home address, attendance records, fee assignments, payment records, receipt numbers, school notices, transport route and stop assignments, and related academic session details.

The app may also collect limited technical information needed to operate and improve the service, including device and app diagnostics, crash reports, basic usage analytics, network status, and push notification tokens where notifications are enabled.

We use information to provide Eduvecta features requested by the school, including login, student register, daily attendance, fee records, receipts, school notices, transport route details, parent updates, reports, and related school administration work.

We also use information to secure accounts, maintain sessions on the device, prevent misuse, diagnose app problems, improve reliability, send relevant service notifications, and provide support to schools and users.

Eduvecta may process student information, including information about children, only for school administration and parent communication purposes. Student records are provided or managed by the school and are used to deliver the services selected by that school.

We do not use children's information for advertising, and we do not sell children's information.

We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to provide the service, comply with law, protect users and schools, or work with trusted service providers who help us operate Eduvecta.

Eduvecta may use service providers for hosting, data storage, analytics, crash reporting, messaging, and infrastructure operations. These providers are expected to process information only for the purposes required to provide and maintain the service.

The app may use Google Firebase services such as Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Cloud Messaging, and Firebase Core. These services help us understand app reliability, diagnose crashes, measure general app usage, and deliver push notifications.

Firebase may process device identifiers, app interaction information, crash logs, diagnostics, and messaging tokens according to Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.

When a user opens a school trial campaign link, Eduvecta may record limited campaign identifiers such as source, medium, and campaign name to understand which campaign led to signup. The mobile app filters these fields to reject email addresses, phone-number-like values, and unusually long identifiers before sending analytics events.

The Android and iOS apps request internet and network access so they can connect to Eduvecta services. They may request notification permission to send relevant school updates when notification features are enabled.

The apps do not request access to camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, precise location, or files for the current release.

Eduvecta uses reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information. Login session details are stored securely on the device where supported by the operating system, and service data is transmitted to Eduvecta servers over secured connections in production.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect school and user information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Eduvecta services to the school, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and support school administration records.

Schools may request correction, export, or deletion of applicable records subject to legal, contractual, and school record-keeping requirements.

Users may contact their school administrator or Eduvecta to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where applicable. Parents and guardians should contact the school for student record changes because the school is the source of those records.

Users who want to delete their Eduvecta app account can follow the manual request process on the Account Deletion page. Eduvecta verifies account ownership before a human processes the request; submitting a request does not delete anything automatically.

Users may disable app notifications from device system settings on Android or iPhone. Users may also sign out of the app to clear the active app session from normal use.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date shown on this page. Continued use of Eduvecta after an update means the updated policy applies.
